Below you can check the principle general measures in place for all tourist services and subsectors.

What are the Guidelines for reducing the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in the tourism sector?

The Secretary of State for Tourism, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, has developed the Guidelines for reducing the spread of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in the tourism sector.

The Guidelines contain specifications on the service, cleaning and disinfection, maintenance and management of risk for the different subsectors of the tourism sector.

These Guidelines are a compendium of BEST PRACTICES mandated by the orders of the Ministry of Health, and, in any case, are subordinated to them.

The Autonomous Communities, the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), the social agents, the associations of each subsector, experts participating in the working groups and the Spanish Association of Labour Prevention Services (AESPLA), coordinated by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality, entity to which the Secretary of State for Tourism has entrusted this work, have participated in the drafting of these Guidelines.
